The Ancient Maya App does not access, collect, store, or transmit any personal information from its users or their devices.
“Personal Information” includes any data that could potentially identify you, such as your name, location, email address, IP address, device ID, or any other sensitive data.
2. Information Handled by Third-Party Services (Email/Text/WhatsApp Feature)
The application includes a feature that allows users to create and share images of traditional Mayan glyph blocks via their device’s built-in communication functionality.
- This process is handled entirely by the user’s operating system’s standard clients (the default Email/Text/WhatsApp app on Windows, iOS, or Android).
- The Ancient Maya App hands off the image data to the operating system’s API and does not have access to, collect, or store any information related to the message composition process, including the recipient’s address, the content, or confirmation of whether the message was sent.
- Any data handling, privacy, and security practices related to the standard client are governed by the privacy policy of the respective communication service provider and operating system vendor.
3. Data Storage
This app only creates a single file on your device. This is a small, temporary image file to hold glyph blocks you created with the Write Feature. This file is required to Share the glyph blocks via email, text, WhatsApp, etc.
4. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We do not expect to change this Privacy Policy. Should that happen we will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the Privacy Policy on the App’s About Page.
